We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) assisting with patient care assessments and clinical procedures while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN
Collect and document patient data including physiological psychosocial and cognitive status
Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene ambulation and meals
Support pre-operative post-operative and post-mortem care as required
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the RN
Respond to call lights and ensure patient safety at all times
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
Deliver patient-centered care tailored to age culture and individual needs
Assist with medication reconciliation and patient education
Conduct preoperative assessments and follow established clinical protocols
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
Active New Jersey LPN License
Current BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 5 years of LPN experience preferred
Strong orthopedic experience required
Ability to communicate clinical instructions and protocols effectively
