Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) assisting with patient care assessments and clinical procedures while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN
• Collect and document patient data including physiological psychosocial and cognitive status
• Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene ambulation and meals
• Support pre-operative post-operative and post-mortem care as required
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the RN
• Respond to call lights and ensure patient safety at all times
• Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to age culture and individual needs
• Assist with medication reconciliation and patient education
• Conduct preoperative assessments and follow established clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 5 years of LPN experience preferred
• Strong orthopedic experience required
• Ability to communicate clinical instructions and protocols effectively
