Job Summary
Location: Greater Merced Area
Salary: $160000$170000 (DOE) Bonus Potential
A fast-paced Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care facility in the greater Merced area is seeking a strong communicative Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and support a high-performing clinical team.
This is a 4-star facility (Overall Rating) with under 80 beds offering a dynamic mix of 3040% short-term rehab (skilled) with the balance in long-term care. Backed by a mid-sized for-profit organization youll have the support and resources needed to succeedalong with real opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all nursing operations ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance
- Supervise mentor and develop nursing staff and department leaders
- Drive clinical outcomes QAPI initiatives and survey readiness
- Collaborate closely with Administrator and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain staffing retention and a positive team culture
Ideal Candidate:
- Active RN license required
- Proven DON or strong ADON experience in SNF/LTC
- Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced rehab-focused setting
- Strong communicator and team builder
- Results-driven with a focus on quality outcomes and compliance
