Job Summary
General Scope of Duties:The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for product shipment to both domestic and international customers. This person will be responsible for shipping and receiving the product accurately. Organization teamwork and a cool head under pressure are vital. Shipping & Receiving Associates are reliable and able to work with attention to detail and within safety standards. The individual in this position should have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with coworkers. The goal in this position is to ensure logistics procedures are carried out safely to maximize efficiency and and Duties:Drive a safety culture based on accountability trust and care for your a high level of professionalism positive attitude and cooperation with fellow associates customers and as an administrative back-up for the Shipping Team Leader in case of an absence or scheduled day and willingness to work 60 hours per week to meet or exceed quality assurance and safety and unload delivery trucks trailers and records all items loaded for and ship product according to customer and accurately maintains shipping records for requested database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to the Business Support goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and bills of lading for complete all paperwork needed to ensure information is supervisor of major discrepancies over-shipments or environment clean in a high volume fast paced be able to occasionally lift 50- 75 other clerical duties as required/ Skills and Experience:Minimum of a high school diploma or two years experience in a Logistics Environment to include the use of manufacturing and order processing software/ with Microsoft Office Suite to maintain records input data and create completion of in-house forklift and safety to effectively communicate with teams and solve issues that may ariseGood organizational skills and attention to experience preferred.1st Shift- 7 AM- 7 PMReporting Relationships:Reports to Shipping Team LeaderSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneEffort & Working Conditions: Normal work environment allows the associate to work and move about freely of the workstation. There may be some need to lift moderately heavy articles. The physical environment is clean and climate-controlled within a partitioned workstation. There is frequent involvement in the manufacturing environment. Sensory attention is required to do keyboarding and ensure product quality.
