Role Overview:

• Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
• Onboards suppliers and manages contracts
• Negotiates Ts & Cs in addition to part/package pricing
• Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
• Skilled influencer able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
• Impacts approaches projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality efficiency and effectiveness of own team. These jobs have significant input into their priorities. Jobs at this level tend to be covered by professional practices and policies but these are shaped by the role. Working within broad guidelines and policies roles at this level have moderate autonomy requiring high levels of evaluative judgment.
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement).
• 5 yearsof relevant experience in sourcing procurement supply chain or operations; preferably in aerospace or a similarly complex regulated industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Proficiency in negotiation. Ability to document plan market and execute programs. Established project management skills.
• Experience inaero derivatives or aviationengine supply chain or engineering
• Strong understanding ofaerospace quality and regulatoryframeworks
• Prior experience withglobal suppliersand complex supply chains
• Familiarity withERP/MRP systemsand digital sourcing tools
• Demonstrated track record incost-out VA/VE and continuous improvement
• Ability to operate withurgency accountability and customer focus

The base pay range for this position is $116K- $154K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factorsincluding the candidates experience education and skill set.This position is also eligiblefor an annual discretionary bonus based on apercentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.

This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with a mix of in-office and remote work and fully remote options may be considered based on candidate qualifications and business needs.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident U.S. Citizen have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e. a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
