Job Summary
Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly respectful and understandable manner. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by departments service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company co-workers and guests. $22.00 Per hour
Responsibilities
Performs any combination of duties required to maintain clean and orderly work areas. Washes walk and floors. May be assigned to sort trash dumpster areas stationed at dock areas of premises. Cleans and stocks assigned work area and monitors the supply of food. Stocks supplies for the shift i.e. silverware glasses mugs ashtrays sugar etc. Responsible for making coffee and maintaining the supply of coffee. Stocks the salad bar area and replenishes the supply of food for servers. Stocks the kitchen with a supply of dishes and utensils. Informs management of supplies needed from the storeroom. Takes the soiled dishes and silverware to the dish room. Responsible for dumping all trash bins. Fills all ice bins and bread bins. Wipes clean all side stands and stainless steel. Mops floors on dining and kitchen areas. Counts and picks up all linen at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
Must be mobile in various areas of hotel. Ability to list and transport heavy objects.
