Position: Full Time Lab Clerk

Department: Lab

Shift: Primarily Afternoons Days as needed8 hr shift

PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the Laboratory Clerk is to act as the communications liaison for the laboratory. This job requires communication between the floors physician offices out-patient clinic other ancillary departments nursing homes laboratory supply vendors and patients.

This position may require other related duties and activities as assigned by the Director of Laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications include high school diploma (or equivalent) basic computer skills and the ability to type 30 WPM. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
