Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bison Foundation serves as the organizations lead executive responsible for advancing the Foundations mission through strategic fundraising community engagement and operational leadership. The CEO reports directly to the Bison Foundation Board of Directors and works closely with the Carlisle Area School District (CASD). This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead fundraising and donor development efforts
- Implement strategic priorities set by the Foundation Board
- Support board governance and committee work
- Oversee daily operations and compliance
- Manage financial coordination with Treasurer and Finance Committee
- Build partnerships with community alumni and CASD

Qualifications

- Experience in fundraising or nonprofit leadership
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work with a governing board
- High level of professionalism and integrity

Compensation & Structure

Compensation determined by the Foundation Board. Part-time (20 hours/week) with flexible scheduling.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Bison Foundation Board of Directors and works in collaboration with CASD leadership.
