Special School District (SSD) employs summer interns in our Technology department to provide technical and troubleshooting support. As an intern your contributions will be valued and relevant offering customer service to SSD staff while engaging with and learning from your team members. Current students or recent graduates with training in computer installation repair Microsoft and Mac operating systems Microsoft applications and strong interpersonal and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Interns work from 7:30 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday at Central Office 12110 Clayton Road Town & Country MO 6313.

Education and Experience

• Exceptional customer service interpersonal and communication skills required
• Training in computer installation and repair preferred
• Experience with Microsoft and Mac Operating Systems preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications preferred
• Training from North Technical or South Technical High Schools is preferred

Certificates Licenses Registrations

• Accessible transportation required
• CompTIA A and/or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certification preferred

Salary

• $15/hr

• End of 2025/26 school year to beginning of 2026/27 school year
