Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this dynamic role you will respond to site needs with agility reliability and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovative service.

Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts supervisors and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations remaining prepared to respond to security-related concerns in an armed post environment.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry trespassing vandalism and/or other unusual activity by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders.
• Prepare detailed activity and incident reports report hazards and/or maintenance concerns and support Allied Universal protocols for radio communication equipment use and shift handoff procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
