My client builds the reconstructive implants that restore hip knee and shoulder function for patients worldwide. As their next Technical Buyer youll own the procurement of the materials and components that make those breakthroughs possible sitting at the intersection of supply chain strategy supplier relationships and regulatory rigor in one of the most respected names in orthopedic med-tech.

What youll be doing

• Procure raw materials components and services for reconstructive hip knee and shoulder implants
• Forecast demand and optimize inventory in partnership with engineering and manufacturing
• Manage supplier relationships end-to-end selection performance tracking and cost negotiations
• Keep all purchasing activity in compliance with FDA ISO and internal quality standards
• Build and track KPIs cost savings and supplier metrics using your companys ERP system

About you

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Background in medical device or high-tech manufacturing procurement you understand the stakes of a supply disruption
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP or Oracle preferred) you live in the system not around it
• Comfortable with orthopedic materials such as titanium or cobalt-chrome alloys (or genuinely curious to learn)
• CPSM or CPM certification is a plus not a requirement
