We are seeking a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and detailed oriented individual to clean and maintain a retail commercial center. Ideal candidates will have good communication/previous janitorial custodian or related experience ability to work with customers/vendors able to perform quality control checks scheduling and admin. Must have a valid drivers license have a dependable vehicle communicate by email timekeeping utilize the phone for incoming outgoing calls and text messages. -Position:Maintenance Supervisor

-Location:Maui

-Schedule:Monday to Friday: 5:00am to 1:30pm (Must be available after hours/on-call for emergencies on the weekends holidays subjective to events meetings and traveling).

-Compensation: $65000 annually

-Key Responsibilities:

Communicate efficiently with team members and property managers through emails and phone calls.

Lead and oversee a janitorial team utilizing strong leadership organizational and communication skills.

Review and submit time cards promptly.

Collect supplies as needed.

Perform basic maintenance tasks including:

-Electrical work

-Plumbing

-Patching potholes

-Painting

-Drywall repairs

-Masonry

-Carpentry repairs

Ensure cleanliness in common areas of the building.

Clean restrooms parking lots and walk paths and restock supplies.

Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.

Operate a pressure washing machine.

Use a leaf blower or handheld blower as required.

Push trash bins when necessary.

Stand and walk for extended duration of shift.

Utilize a smartphone for uploading information online communicating via email and responding to calls and text messages.

Adhere to safety procedures.

Report safety concerns or building issues (e.g. burnt-out light bulbs).

Carry out any additional duties as assigned.

-Skills/Qualifications:

Must pass background check.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid Hawaii drivers license and a reliable vehicle preferred.

Previous janitorial custodian experience or related experience is preferred and willing to train.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Must have good public relations skills and communication.

Applicants must perform basic manual labor painting stain wood clean common areas press push pull frequently lift 40lbs carry a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs) be able to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel walk crawl squat climb stretch walk up and down the stairs and use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts.
