Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake part of the rapidly growing Group 1 Automotive family is now operating in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility!We are seeking experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Mercedes-Benz Service Technicians to join our high-performing team and represent the excellence of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Our technicians play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Were looking for professionals who take pride in their work are committed to quality and precision and thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment that values and supports its employees.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics troubleshooting and testing on automotive systems
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors
Qualifications
Minimum 6-months of Flag/Flat-Rate Automotive Technician experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Must pass background check MVR and drug screening
