Hiltz Propane Systems has been designing engineering installing and servicing bulk propane systems for retail industrial and commercial clients since 2011. What Youll Do as a Welding Program Manager:
- Own & maintain the welding program holding all work to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure all welding work meets ASME AWS NBIC OSHA and other applicable codes and standards.
- Inspect & audit shop and field welding to ensure work meets standards.
- Manage welding documentation including procedures certifications and records.
- Review & approve WPS PQRs and WPQs while enforcing welding standards and supporting audits and accreditation.
- Train & support welding personnel stepping in with hands-on expertise in the shop or field when needed.
- Coordinate welding work across projects with engineering project management and field teams.
- Travel occasionally to job sites as needed.
Our Ideal Welding Program Manager:
- Experienced: 5 years of professional welding experience with strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 NBIC and AWS; able to interpret blueprints perform code welding and inspection with CWI certification preferred.
- Leader: Trains guides and influences others while taking initiative to improve processes and raise the standard of work.
- Detail-oriented: Holds a high standard for compliance documentation and doing the work right.
- Safety-focused: Prioritizes safe practices and enforces standards with confidence.
- Problem-solver: Uses sound judgment to work through complex welding and field challenges.
- Communicative: Works well across teams and clearly sets expectations.
What We Offer Our Welding Program Manager:
- Full-time Monday-Friday (occasional work outside standard hours as needed)
- $65000-$85000 per year
