What Youll Do as a Propane Service Technician:
- Troubleshoot service repair & maintain bulk propane tanks and supply systems.
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure systems are safe and code-compliant.
- Follow all company policies and local state and federal propane regulations.
- Respond to customer needs resolve issues and provide safe practical solutions.
- Operate company vehicles tools and equipment safely in field environments.
- Complete service documentation and records accurately and on time.
- Support tank installation removal transportation and bulk plant maintenance as needed.
- Travel regionally to service customers including regular overnight travel as required.
Our Ideal Propane Service Technician:
- Experienced: 3 years working with propane systems or similar mechanical equipment; strong mechanical aptitude required; high school diploma or GED required with technical or trade school training preferred; CETP or propane-related training is a plus.
- Problem-solver: Comfortable troubleshooting diagnosing issues and working with tools and equipment in the field including basic computer systems as needed.
- Excellent Communicator: Clear professional and helpful with customers while delivering safe practical solutions.
- Reliable: Shows up follows through and takes pride in doing the job right.
- Active: Able to lift up to 75 lbs. work outdoors in varying weather conditions and move through physically demanding environments.
What We Offer Our Propane Service Technician:
- Full-time 50-55 hours per week (occasional weekend work as required)
- $30-$38 per hour depending on experience
