Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures including routine radiographic fluoroscopic and portable exams. This role supports multiple departments such as diagnostic radiology nursing units outpatient services and surgical areas ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders
Conduct routine fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures
Ensure accurate patient positioning to achieve optimal imaging results
Adhere to radiation safety standards for patients and staff
Operate and maintain diagnostic radiology equipment and imaging systems
Assist with scheduling exams and coordinating patient transport
Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow
Provide guidance and support to radiologic technologist students as needed
Maintain compliance with regulatory safety and quality standards
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental audits
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques
Proficiency in patient positioning and imaging equipment operation
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT Certification (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (required)
