Job Summary

Job Title: Diesel Technician / Mechanic
Location: Marshfield Wisconsin
Company: I-State Truck Centers

I-State Truck Center is looking for Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) of all skill levels for our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Marshfield Wisconsin. This role is ideal for technicians with strong experience working on Freightliner Allison Detroit Diesel (including Series60) Cummins and other heavy-duty engine platforms. We support Freightliner Western Star and other on-highway truck applications and provide ongoing training certifications and career growth opportunities.

What Youll Do

  • Diagnose repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel truck engines and components
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Detroit Diesel (Series 60 through current models) and Cummins platforms
  • Troubleshoot and repair engine aftertreatment electrical and driveline systems
  • Communicate clearly with foremen service writers and fellow technicians regarding repairs
  • Complete quality repairs to ensure up-time and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and paperwork
  • Work toward and maintain required certifications

What Were Looking For

  • Experience as a heavy-duty diesel truck technician
  • Strong working knowledge of Detroit Diesel engines (including Series 60)
  • Experience with Cummins engines; CAT and International experience a plus
  • Familiarity with diagnostics electrical systems and diesel engine repair
  • Additional experience with brakes suspension hydraulics manual/automatic transmissions and drivetrains preferred
  • Valid drivers license required (CDL holders eligible for bonus compensation)
  • Strong work ethic reliability and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role
