Job Title: Inspection Conveyor Attendant

Position Summary
The Inspection Conveyor Attendant is responsible for monitoring product on inspection conveyors to identify defects foreign materials and quality issues. This role is essential in maintaining a clean safe and sanitary production environment while ensuring all product meets quality and safety standards. Effective communication attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are critical to success in this position.
Essential Job Functions
- Work the inspection conveyors identifying all foreign materials and product quality issues.
- Maintain a clean safe and sanitary work environment.
- Ensure defects and foreign materials are identified accurately and that good product is not improperly discarded.
- Stop the production line immediately if contaminated product is detected and notify the Line Operator or Lead.
- Follow Lead direction to clear contaminated product and sanitize affected areas.
- During assigned floor rotation clean belts rollers run-offs and shovel waste from floors in the dehydration area.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are stored in designated areas during and at the end of each shift.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to the Line Operator or Lead promptly.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Inspect product continuously for quality defects and contamination.
- Take swift action when contamination occurs to protect product integrity and food safety.
- Support sanitation requirements by cleaning equipment and work areas regularly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping to promote a safe and compliant environment.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers Line Operators and department Leads.
- Assist in maintaining proper workflow and support team efforts as needed.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and sanitation needs.
Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to climb stairs kneel crouch and bend as needed.
- Ability to use a shovel broom and squeegee for sanitation tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction.
- Ability to work in a wet fast-paced and noisy production environment.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work well in a team-driven atmosphere.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
