Primary function of this position is to drive tractor trailers containing various products (meats produce frozen foods dry goods etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites.
SCHEDULE : Early morning start times
7am starts
4 day work weeks
Sunday - Friday availability
Saturdays off

Compensationdepends on relevant experience and/or education specific skills function geographic location and other factors as applicable by law.
Our shuttle drivers start with a base hourly rate of $32.28 per hour.
- As applicable this role will also receive: overtime compensation.

Check Route Numbers and Account Numbers for All Assigned Deliveries
CheckCustomer Invoices of Product That Has Been Loaded
Moving Tractor to The Loading Dock to Attach Pre-Loaded Trailer And/or Attach 2nd Trailer with The Dolly
Hook trailers carefully making sure all connections are correct
Use Electronic Time Keeping System to Log in Time at Stop Site
Check for Returns and Paperwork on Trailers Shuttling Back to The Distribution Center
Performing Safety Checks on The Truck and Trailer
Fuel (As Required by The Division); Unhooking and Secure Trailer; Parking and Securing Tractor and Hand Truck
May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Physical Requirements
Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions required
What You Bring to the Table
Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
6 months commercial driving experience required
Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
Must be comfortable working overnight
Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation to understand highway traffic signs and signals to respond to official inquiries and to enter information on reports and records.
