Maintenance Technician II Facilities Services 1
Job Summary
General Summary:
Performs electrical and plumbing work and other maintenance projects.
Essential Duties:
Troubleshoots electrical failures and removes and replaces faulty electrical components;
Changes ballasts tubes and light bulbs;
Performs plumbing work installs and all types of plumbing repair;
Assists with basic carpentry work including hanging pictures and plaques;
Monitors and maintains electric locks on county buildings;
Reads and interprets blueprints and written instructions;
And confers with supervisor concerning construction alteration maintenance and repair projects.

Education
Required: High school graduation or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Required: At least three years of experience.

Required: Texas Journeyman Electrician license.
