Location: Flushing NY
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM 37.5 hours/week
Shift: Day (5 7.5-hour shifts)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Pediatric Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality echocardiography procedures for pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on pediatric experience strong technical expertise with echo equipment and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment as needed
• Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during procedures
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns to appropriate medical staff (MD/RN)
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Assist with scheduling and clerical duties related to procedures
• Adhere to infection control safety standards and clinical guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Training Program
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician
• Hands-on experience with pediatric echocardiography required
• Certification required: CCI or ARDMS (Echo)
