DESCRIPTION:East Texas Baptist University seeks a qualified individual for the position of Clinic Director for ETBU Health Services/ETBU Nurse Practitioner. This position is a 9-month (August - May; with selected dates in the summer) full-time position providing health care and health education to the students faculty and staff of ETBU. The successful candidate will have a passion for working closely with students in a student-centered work environment. ETBU seeks a Christian healthcare professional who is committed to the integration of faith into practice and is willing to invest in the university local church and regional community. The Clinic Director reports to the Vice-President of Academic Affairs and is responsible for the overall management administration and delivery of campus health services at position begins August 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS:ETBU seeks Christian leaders who are committed to the integration offaith in learning and will invest in the university local church and regional community.
- Two years experience in Primary Care setting or university health services preferred.
- Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and detection of common illnesses; current health mental health alcohol and other drug and social issues on university campuses.
- OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standards familiarity with Title IX; as well as knowledge sensitivity and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Candidate must be able to handle all situations with diplomacy confidentiality and trust as well as have excellent communication presentation and organizational skills.
EDUCATION:Graduated from an accredited college or university with a masters degree in Nursing FNP AANP or ANCC certification BLS certification current licensure (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Texas and prescriptive privileges in Texas are required.

Further as a servant leader and role model for the students of ETBU employee is required to participate in the life of the University via institutional meetings Chapel services committee participation local community ministry/service and campus activities and events. Employee provides active support of the spiritual intellectual and educational ideals values activities and objectives of East Texas Baptist University; and conforms to Christian standards of faith and service.
