How youll contribute

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement reduce pain and restore functional independence.

• Put your physical therapy skills to work where theyre really needed -evaluate a patients condition develop a treatment plan and help them get better day by day. Youll also instruct the nursing staff and the patients families on follow-through programs that build on the progress theyve made.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength mobility and function.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements
• Instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Experience: Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
• License: Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
