How youll contribute
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement reduce pain and restore functional independence.
- Put your physical therapy skills to work where theyre really needed -evaluate a patients condition develop a treatment plan and help them get better day by day. Youll also instruct the nursing staff and the patients families on follow-through programs that build on the progress theyve made.
- Provide direct patient care to restore strength mobility and function.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements
- Instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Experience: Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
- License: Current license to practice occupational therapy.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.
