Job Summary

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of the Social Worker and Youth Connection Tutor is to support high school students experiencing homelessness or at riskof homelessness who are enrolled in a credit recovery acceleration and/or a self-pacing course by providing needed resources schedulingdirect tutoring transportation and social emotional assistance to completethe course and earn the credit(s) needed for graduation or promotion.

Grade Levels: Current 9th to 11th Grades

Program Dates/Instructional Times:

June8 - June 26 2026 (15 days)

8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

48 earned college hours required - $12.00/hour

Bachelors Degree required - $20.00/hour

Bachelors Degree required & valid Texas Teaching Certificate - $25.00/hour

Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidential information/records

Experience: Experience in tutoring and/or one to one small group instruction preferred
