Position Summary
The Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling finished goods individual components and outside processing to support production. The role operates in a high-volume high-mix machine shop environment and must be capable of managing multiple projects at once. This individual must be capable of operating in a high stress constantly varying environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel to start is required and knowledge of INFOR visual is desirable. This is an individual contributor role.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Scheduling of finished goods pieces parts and outside processes
Track plans and schedules perform risk analysis and resolve critical path
Utilize metrics to report to leadership and track success
Participate in the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
Basic Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel
Basic understanding of a Manufacturing environment and scheduling
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Supply Chain Data Analytics Business or other related field
Experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Experience in the firearms industry
PMP/CPIM/CSCP (or similar certifications)
Experience with Tableau Power BI or similar data visualization tools
Experience with Infor ERP system
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
