Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing cardiology practice in Atlanta. This position is primarily outpatient and clinic-focused with limited daily inpatient support. The APP will work closely with cardiologists to provide high-quality cardiovascular care manage follow-up visits and support continuity of care for established patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large expanding cardiology network with a strong emphasis on patient-centered comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
Outpatient Clinic Care (Primary Focus)
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits including routine follow-ups chronic disease management and evaluation of ongoing cardiac concerns.
- Support continuity of care by following patients post-hospitalization and integrating them into ongoing outpatient management.
- Provide clinical support within the cardiology clinic including patient education and assistance with diagnostic testing such as imaging treadmill studies and cardiac monitoring.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure efficient patient flow and a well-coordinated clinic experience.
Inpatient & Hospital Support (Limited Daily Component)
- Assist with hospital-based follow-up and coordination of care in collaboration with the cardiology team.
- Support smooth transitions from hospital to outpatient care.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia.
- Prior cardiology experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in an outpatient setting; comfort supporting limited inpatient consults.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative physician-led team.
