Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing cardiology practice in Atlanta. This position is primarily outpatient and clinic-focused with limited daily inpatient support. The APP will work closely with cardiologists to provide high-quality cardiovascular care manage follow-up visits and support continuity of care for established patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large expanding cardiology network with a strong emphasis on patient-centered comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
Outpatient Clinic Care (Primary Focus)
Conduct outpatient clinic visits including routine follow-ups chronic disease management and evaluation of ongoing cardiac concerns.
Support continuity of care by following patients post-hospitalization and integrating them into ongoing outpatient management.
Provide clinical support within the cardiology clinic including patient education and assistance with diagnostic testing such as imaging treadmill studies and cardiac monitoring.
Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure efficient patient flow and a well-coordinated clinic experience.
Inpatient & Hospital Support (Limited Daily Component)
Assist with hospital-based follow-up and coordination of care in collaboration with the cardiology team.
Support smooth transitions from hospital to outpatient care.
Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia.
Prior cardiology experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills in an outpatient setting; comfort supporting limited inpatient consults.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative physician-led team.
