Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical surgical and preventive care for patients
Lead and mentor the veterinary team to support clinical growth and development
Establish and uphold medical standards protocols and best practices
Collaborate with hospital leadership on operations workflow and team performance
Foster a positive collaborative and team-oriented work environment
Support staff training coaching and professional development
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
Active veterinary license
Previous leadership experience (e.g. Lead Veterinarian Medical Director or similar role) preferred
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication leadership and organizational abilities
