Job Summary

Job Description

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Conduct research to ensure that designs are safe efficient and cost-effective
• Create and review technical drawings specifications and standards
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Install maintain and repair electronic control systems and instrumentation
• Test equipment for faults diagnosing problems and replacing or repair defective parts
• Perform periodic calibration of instruments and devices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Requires bachelors degree and/or 7 years of experience with electrical systems and components.
• Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools
• Basic computer skills (e.g. data entry Microsoft Excel)Manufacturing preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand bending kneeling crouching or walk move throughout the manufacturing facility
• Must be able to climb ladders access elevated platforms and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or tools up to 2550 lbs. occasionally.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools instruments and computer equipment.
• Visual acuity to read schematics inspect electrical components and perform detailed work.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses gloves hard hats and hearing protection.
• Tolerance for working in environments with noise heat dust and varying temperatures.
