Responsibilities

• Companionship:Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors.

• Assistance with Daily Activities:Help with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and mobility assistance.

• Medication Management:Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules.

• Meal Preparation:Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.

• Light Housekeeping:Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior.

• Transportation:Assist with transportation to medical appointments grocery shopping and other essential outings.

• Monitoring Health:Observe and report any changes in the seniors health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.

• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the clients condition.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferred
• Willing to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in-home care training.
• A valid drivers license reliable transportation required - may need to drive clients in own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileage
• Must be willing to work in homes with pets. Cats and/or dogs
• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someones life

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients favorite hobbies (scrapbooking gardening games etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking dressing and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients physical condition mental capacity and behavior
