Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Gain manufacturing experience by working with the Engineering Manager operations team and management while completing determined projects and applying engineering principles.
REPORTING TO
Engineering Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Basic knowledge of CAD systems and ability to learn SolidWorks.
- Design and document our products assembly and tooling fixtures to support operations.
- Review RFQs and use the equivalent information from the 3D model to create a 2D model
- Develop 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements.
- Assist the customer service team by getting specific information that customers are looking for.
- Complete testing of various products to assist in development.
- Document procedures.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a group.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Strong desire to learn from all departments.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office systems.
- Detail-oriented and able to work on several projects at a time.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
