Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Workday Business Systems Analyst to join our team on-site at our Lincoln this role you will serve as the primary bridge between our HR stakeholders and our technical systems. You will be responsible for optimizing our Workday ecosystem ensuring data integrity and translating complex business requirements into functional technical solutions.

As an in-office team member you will benefit from real-time collaboration with department heads and immediate access to our technical infrastructure playing a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Optimization: Configure maintain and support Workday modules (including HCM Benefits Compensation and Additional Modules like Payroll/Talent).

  • Requirements Gathering: Lead in-person workshops with HR and Finance stakeholders to document business processes and identify areas for system improvement.

  • Configuration & Testing: Build and manage Business Processes (BPs) calculated fields and condition rules. Execute rigorous UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure seamless deployments.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain advanced reports and dashboards (Matrix Composite nVision) to provide actionable insights for leadership.

  • Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier 2/3 support for system errors integration failures and data discrepancies providing rapid on-site resolution.

  • Feature Release Management: Evaluate twice-yearly Workday releases performing impact analysis and recommending new features to adopt.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst specifically focused on the Workday platform.

  • Technical Skills: * Deep understanding of Workday Core HCM and at least one other functional area.

    • Proficiency in EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) for mass data loads.

    • Strong grasp of Workday Security Groups and permissions.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Information Systems Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a face-to-face environment.
