Job Description:

Examples of Work

• Full lifecycle software development using C#.NET to build and maintain enterprise level applications
• Troubleshoot/ resolve issues related to the N-FOCUS desktop environment
• Administer and maintain the Reporting environment for mission critical applications. Includes server upgrades report migration as well as other management tasks
• Administer and maintain the Enterprise Content Management System for mission critical applications. Includes server upgrades administration as well as other management tasks.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science information systems mathematics engineering or other related field and two years of experience education or training in coding computer applications; programming experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:The candidate must have at least 5 years of recent experience in the following:

Skillset/ experience with C coding language

Familiarity with the DHHS N-FOCUS application and/or State of Nebraska IT environment

Other:Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln. No remote or hybrid work.

Knowledge and experience supporting client/ server enterprise environments
