The Johns Hopkins HospitalLifeline Transport Team is an integral part of The Department of Emergency Services. The Department of Emergency Services is a designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center regional Pediatric Trauma Center Eye Trauma Center Stroke Center and Cardiac Center for the state of Maryland. The Lifeline team executes thousands of air ground and in-house patient transports yearly and assists in preserving the lives of our most critically ill patients during these transports. Lifelines mission is to bring 24/7 advanced life support and critical care services to The Johns Hopkins community.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a Paramedic Training Program
• National Registry Paramedic certification required at time of hire
• Maryland Paramedicrequired at time of hire
• District of Columbia Paramedic certificationrequired; upon hireORwithin the first 120 days of employment
• Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant certification required;upon hireORwithin the first 90 days of employment
• Valid and current ACLS and BLS certification required upon hire
• Unrestricted valid drivers license
• Must maintain contracted ambulance vendors emergency vehicle operator requirements
• Required minimum of two years of EMS or hospital experience within last three years. Preferred minimum of one year as a full-time advanced life support (ALS) provider.

Salary Range: Minimum 28.39/hour - Maximum 46.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
