- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during invasive procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during invasive and interventional procedures (scrubbing circulating monitoring)
- Record and monitor hemodynamic parameters in accordance with policies
- Operate interventional equipment and related devices
- Prepare patients physically and psychologically for procedures explaining processes and addressing concerns
- Transfer patients safely to and from procedure areas
- Set up and maintain sterile fields; clean and dispose of materials post-procedure
- Assist with the administration of contrast media
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedural records
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- Perform routine equipment checks cleaning and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety infection control and operational protocols
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Procedural Experience (Preferred)
Endovascular & Diagnostic Procedures:
- Aortogram (LE UE Visceral)
- Carotid studies
- AV Fistula procedures
Interventional Procedures:
- Embolization
- IVC Filter placement
- Dialysis access procedures
- Quinton catheter placement
- TIPS procedures
- PICC line placement
- Biopsies
Non-Vascular Procedures:
- Drain placements
- G/J Tube placement
- Nephrostomy/Kidney tubes
- Biliary procedures
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of interventional procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to monitor and interpret patient hemodynamics
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
