Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Business Intelligence team who is passionate about creating dashboards deriving insights and continuously improving tools and data structures for White River Marine Group (WRMG).
This role partners with cross-functional teams including Engineering Manufacturing Procurement Brand Management and Leadership to understand business needs and deliver reporting dashboards and analysis that support the management of supply manufacturing and sales across all White River Marine Group boat brands. The ideal candidate is curious detail-oriented and motivated to solve business problems using data.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Build Power BI dashboards reports and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to business users and leadership.
- Facilitate data collection into the Snowflake environment combining and transforming data into models that support future insights and reporting needs.
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends patterns anomalies and opportunities for improvement across key functional areas and business processes within White River Marine Group.
- Key examples include analysis of customer feedback warranty claims operational performance and cost-related data.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Assist in maintaining and validating reporting solutions metrics and foundational data models used for business intelligence.
- Help advance business intelligence capabilities including predictive modeling machine learning and other statistical techniques.
- Stay current on data analytics and BI tools and best practices.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree
- Preferred Degree: Bachelors Degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Business Analytics Finance Economics or or related field (if applicable)
- Years of experience: Minimum of 13 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a similar role.
- Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Excel and data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI Domo Tableau or similar.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms. Exposure to statistical analysis forecasting or predictive modeling.
- Experience working with customer warranty operational procurement or financial data.
- Experience in manufacturing retail consumer products marine or industrial environments.
- Experience with Python R or other analytical programming languages.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Working knowledge of data analysis visualization and reporting best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Curiosity initiative and a willingness to continuously learn new tools and techniques.
- Passion for using data to drive better business outcomes.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
