Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of golf club rental sets throughout their lifecyclefrom outbound shipment to return processing. This role requires strong attention to detail hands-on equipment care and a working knowledge of golf clubs and equipment to ensure each set meets quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities Include

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

• Pick pack and ship golf club rental sets according to customer orders and specifications

• Ensure each set includes the correct club configuration (driver woods irons wedges putter) and any requested handedness flex or brand preferences

• Package equipment securely to prevent damage during transit

• Generate shipping labels and coordinate with carriers (UPS FedEx etc.)

• Meet daily shipping deadlines and maintain high accuracy rates

Receiving & Returns Processing

• Receive and inspect returned rental sets and inbound inventory shipments

• Verify all clubs and components are accounted for (including headcovers bags and accessories)

• Accurately check returned sets back into inventory systems

• Identify missing or incorrect items and escalate as needed

Cleaning & Quality Control (QC)

• Clean and sanitize golf clubs grips shafts bags and accessories

• Inspect clubfaces grooves grips and shafts for wear or damage

• Ensure grips are in playable condition and clubs meet rental-quality standards

• Replace or flag worn grips damaged shafts or dented clubheads

• Reassemble complete ready-to-rent sets with attention to presentation and performance

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory of golf clubs bags and accessories across multiple brands and set types

• Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits

• Organize warehouse layout to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of sets

• Track inventory movement and update systems in real time

Golf Equipment Knowledge (Preferred but Trainable)

• Basic understanding of golf club types (driver fairway woods hybrids irons wedges putters)

• Familiarity with right-handed vs. left-handed sets

• Awareness of shaft flex options (regular stiff senior etc.)

• Ability to identify major golf brands and equipment categories

• Understanding of general wear standards (e.g. grip condition groove wear)

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse shipping/receiving or logistics experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

• Basic computer skills (shipping software inventory systems)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
