Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Petersburg VA

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services including C-sections vaginal deliveries and management of ectopic pregnancies.
• Manage patient care during call and clinic hours with a call ratio of 1 to 4.
• Participate in deliveries and rounding for unattended patients in collaboration with Laborist care.
• Participate in clinic duties typically 8:30 AM to 3 PM with an hour lunch break.
• Document patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system.
• Maintain necessary procedure logs documenting at least 50 deliveries and a minimum of 15 C-sections in the last year.
• Engage with support staff efficiently to ensure streamlined patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia medical license DEA and CSR
• Current certification in ABOG and BLS
• Clean professional background with no malpractice history
• Ability to meet specified availability and coverage requirements
• Experience preferred in a hospital setting with familiarity in managing high-risk obstetrics

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Virginia Medical License
• Active Virginia DEA and CSR
• Board Certification (OB/GYN)
• BLS and ABOG Certification
