What will you be doing in your role
Leadership Management and Accountability (LMA)â
- Lead and manage direct reports within the department.
- Manage implementation of the Parish Relations plan.
- Effectively manage cross-department relationships throughâstrong communication collaboration and partnership development.
- Implement and manage initiatives that strengthen Catholic Charities partnership with parishes and diocesan ministries ensuring coordinated efforts that advanceâCCFWsâmission.
Parish Relationship Managementâ
- Ownâstrong cultivatedâcollaborative relationships with pastors parishâstaffâand lay leaders.â
- Create cultivation plans for highly engaged parishes toâmaintainâengagement andâidentifyânext Top 10 parishes to deeply engage.
- Develop and own strategies to increase and strengthen relationships with diocesan parishes and key diocesan ministries.
- Collaborate with program leadership to enhance service delivery to parishes and parish communities.â
- Serve as theâcentral pointâof contact into CCFW for pastors parish staff and lay leaders.â
- Complete required documentation toâmaintainâaccurateârecord of parish activity touchpoints and development opportunities.
Liaisonâto CCFW Client Servicesâ
- Work collaboratively with parishes and program leadersâand staffâto ensure parishes can connect withâappropriate programsâaccording to parish needs and visionâand establishedâCCFWâreferral process.
- Possessâstrong working knowledge of agency programs and be able to articulate available services in a way thatâfacilitatesâuse and referral pipeline.
- Respond to and resolve parish concerns promptly whileâmaintainingâclear communication and ensuring thoroughâfollow-through.â
- Coordinateâtraining opportunities and other convenings between CCFW staff and parish ministries.â
- Effectively articulate CCFWs commitment to solidarity and service through active engagement with key parishes and diocesan leaders.
Fundraising and Advancementââ
- Develop and implement cultivation plans for diocesan parishesâensuring strong collaborations and partnerships.
- Workâjointlyâwith Advancementâto integrate parishesâintoâidentifiedâappealsâand giving opportunities.
- Develop build and implement strong CCFW Weekend appeal through collaboration facilitation and engagement.
- Solicit individual parish gifts toâsupportâagency growth andâprogram implementationâthroughout Diocese.
- Maintainâaccurateâdonor records and gift histories in donor software.
Formation Opportunitiesâ
- Develop and implement strategies to support formation of priests seminarians deacon candidates and other lay leaders onâCCFWs mission vision and values.
- Cultivate opportunities for priests to engage in agency boards and committees as needed/requiredâto help advanceâCCFWs mission.
- Contribute to the agencys efforts toâprovideâspiritual development opportunities through weekly Masses CST training and other educational opportunities.
- Regularlyâparticipateâin deanery meetings toâsolicitâfeedbackâto remain informedâabout changing regional needs and opportunities and provide big picture agency updates.
Are you the next Director of Parish Relations
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field. Masters Degree preferredâ
- Progressive leadership experience (five years)âof professional work experience in nonprofit development and leadershipâ
- Active in Catholic community; practicing Catholic highly preferredâ
- Strong strategic planning and leadership skillsâ
- Deep commitment to CCFWs mission vision values and belief in the dignity and potential of every familyâ
- Exceptional relationship building skills and communication abilitiesâ
- Strong understanding of Catholic Social Teaching as the foundational to the mission vision and values of CCFWâ
- Ability to navigate complex relationships with tact professionalism andâdisciplineâ
- Familiarity with Raisers Edge or similar CRM
- Travel within the 28-county Catholic Diocese of Fort Worthârequiredâ
- Bilingual in Spanish beneficialâ
