The ideal candidate at minimum must have the following:
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework or 2 years social or behavioral science pre-medicine business administration public administration human services as defined in series purpose or comparable field (note: this required education &/or experience shall not be applied to satisfy one of the following):
- 24 mos. recent exp. (i.e. within past 5 years) in delivery of human services that included explaining & applying child support laws policies & procedures & child support IVD regulations mandated by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services or Department of Children & Youth & using SETS computer systems.
- 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. operating personal computer & using office system software that is Microsoft Word Excel Power Point or like software package.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios SEIU/1199 Pay Range 13. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $34.96per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

Office of Child Support
This position is in the Office of Child Support (OCS) which establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Ohios child support program provides services to help ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve. What You Will Do
This position is responsible for acquiring and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the Support Enforcement Tracking System (SETS) functionality upgrades and enhancements. The role provides first-level technical assistance and problem resolution for SETS users conducts individual research collaborates with teammates on complex issues and develops and delivers presentations to county partners during quarterly video conferences.
The ideal candidate is an independent worker with strong analytical skills capable of quickly and accurately processing data defining unusual problems establishing facts drawing complex conclusions thoroughly documenting findings and effectively communicating results to customers.
Responsibilities
- Research analyze and evaluate reported issues to distinguish between user errors and system errors
- Respond to county Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) inquiries and educate users on proper system usage
- Assist users throughout the problem-solving process
- Proactively review and follow up on SETS financial transactions and processes
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on system processes and functionality
- Provide feedback to support the development of business requirements

Schedule: Full-time.
Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
