What Clinical Services contributes to Cardinal Health
Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality patient-centered care focused on diagnosing treating and managing care while ensuring the safety efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients.
We are seeking a compassionate detail-oriented and experienced Medical Assistant to join our high-volume Hematology/Oncology practice. This role is critical in supporting patients undergoing chemotherapy and hematologic treatments.
Responsibilities
Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as ordered by providers
Monitor patients for adverse reactions post-injection
Support infusion and clinical teams with patient flow and coordination
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
Provide empathetic care to patients undergoing complex treatment regimens
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience preferred
Certified or eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment or completion of a Medical Assisting program
Current CPR certification
6 months of Medical Assistant experience required

Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines
Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions
Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor
