Job Summary
Posting Summary
The Asset Coordinator supports the Universitys Integrated Workplace Management System ( IWMS ) by creating updating and maintaining accurate equipment and asset records in alignment with the Universitys Strategic Asset Management Plan and asset-specific management plans. The position assists in the development and enhancement of preventive maintenance data supports IWMS reporting and configuration tasks and conducts field verification work needed to ensure reliable asset data. Working under the direction of IWMS Administrator the Asset Coordinator provides operational and technical support to Facilities Management units including data collection data integration dashboards and basic end-user training. This position plays a critical role in ensuring consistency and data quality across the IWMS enabling Facilities Management to make informed data-driven decisions. This position upholds UVMs Our Common Grounds values. The role may involve operation of a university vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience in a university or higher education environment. Experience with field data collection or preventive maintenance systems. Experience with software tools used in asset management including IWMS platforms or comparable systems. Knowledge of codes regulations standards and practices applicable to facilities and asset management.
