Job Summary
SERVICE MANAGER HEAVY EQUIPMENT
Juneau Alaska
Relocation Available
CMI is looking for a Service Manager to run our Juneau operation.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You will be responsible for keeping a heavy equipment service department moving in one of the most demanding territories in Alaska.
If youre comfortable managing people controlling workflow and handling a fast-paced environment this is a strong opportunity
WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Running daily scheduling and dispatch (shop & field)
- Controlling WIP backlog and job flow
- Making sure jobs move from quote approval completion billing
- Keeping technicians productive and accountable
- Working with parts sales and rental to support customers
- Managing downtime situations where response matters
- Maintaining a safe and professional shop
You are responsible for how the department runs. Not just overseeing it.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Experience running a shop fleet or field service team
- Background in heavy equipment mining construction or similar
- Someone who can make decisions and hold people accountable
- Clear communicator who can handle customers and internal pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving sometimes reactive environment
No degree required. Experience matters.
