Job Responsibilities
- Works alongside physicians and attends medical rounds to evaluate patients and monitor their progress.
- Attends and participate in multidisciplinary clinical conferences and research meetings.
- Performs routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and assists in complex surgical procedures as instructed.
- Provides support to other healthcare professionals in the assessment and management of cardiovascular patients.
- Monitors patient progress communicates effectively with patients and their families and provides education about disease prevention and management.
- Collaborates with other medical staff members in the management of clinical cases develops treatment plans and provides ongoing care to patients.
- Participates in ongoing professional development activities to increase knowledge and skills in their field of specialty.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
