About the Opportunity:

Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a global leader in industrial electrical solutions to identify a Product Safety Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring products meet rigorous global safety and certification standards.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment used in hazardous environments including explosion-proof lighting enclosures and control systemswhere your work directly impacts safety compliance and global market expansion.

What Youll Do:

• Lead certification efforts for new and existing products across global standards
• Manage third-party testing and validation for hazardous environment equipment
• Review and develop technical documentation (test data sheets construction reviews compliance reports)
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering manufacturing and regulatory teams
• Stay ahead of evolving standards and guide teams on regulatory impact
• Support audits inspections and certification protocols
• Utilize tools such as UL Product IQ IECEx Online and compliance platforms

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 1 years of experience in product safety certification or compliance engineering
• Exposure to hazardous location standards (ATEX IECEx UL CSA preferred)
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
