Location: Spartanburg South Carolina
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay: $30.50 $34.50 per hour

About the Role

Were looking for a skilled and dependable General Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Spartanburg SC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and a strong commitment to safety teamwork and continuous improvement.

This role is essential to maintaining equipment reliability troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring safe efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues as they arise.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate work order completion.
• Identify potential hazards and report or resolve safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in compliance and EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) programs.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to Maintenance Job Evaluations and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals schematics and work orders.
• Effective communicator and team player with strong problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on labor.
• Comfortable working in various conditions including heights and confined spaces.
• Must be able to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
