You will have the opportunity to build their schools churches commercial and industrial projects. We are licensed to work in multiple states including Kentucky Ohio Indiana Tennessee Alabama Georgia and West Virginia enabling us to support construction projects across the region.
We are currently looking to add team members who are driven passionate and committed to this fast-paced environment youll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects alongside a close-knit team. From building projects in your community of which you will be proud to managing complex construction processes your skills and expertise will be put to the test every day.
Responsibilities:
- Review and become knowledgeable of project plans and specifications to plan procedures and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Assist in the development of project schedule with specific focus on individual task durations.
- Review all drawings i.e. shops architectural structural etc. when they are issued to the field. Coordinate and maintain a current set of drawings at all times.
- Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from start-up to completion.
- Schedule and coordinate work.
- Determine materials equipment and tools needed.
- Track and input time for crew members.
- Maintain daily documentation: Daily reports Bid Hours Sheet and Material Log.
- Create and provide a two-week lookahead schedule for each DBSP Foreman meeting.
- Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
- Schedule weekly tool box talks and serve as an on-site safety officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project. Fill out JSAs daily.
- Interface with Project Site Manager.
- Manage construction tasks including operation of heavy machinery such as skid steer backhoe excavator compactor etc. Oversee general carpentry and concrete tasks.
- Safely and efficiently perform general construction functions with various types of hand tools and small power tools.
- Construct concrete forms lay out and tie rebar according to drawings.
- Place and finish concrete.
- Maintain any and all equipment and tools on the jobsite.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 5 years minimum experience in Commercial construction.
- Knowledge of construction processes industry and delivery methods.
- CDL License is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
Physical requirements: Climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling bending twisting pushing pulling seeing reading and reaching to perform everyday job tasks. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
