Position Summary

Join Thermo Fisher Scientifics Semiconductor Business Unit Finance team as a Manager Finance supporting our global Semiconductor Sales organization within the Electron Microscopy business. Thermo Fisher offers an industryleading portfolio of solutions spanning research and development through highvolume manufacturing helping semiconductor customers accelerate innovation and timetomarket.

This is a Global Commercial Finance leadership role reporting to the Finance Director Semiconductor Business Unit. The position serves as a key finance partner to the Vice President of Global Semiconductor Sales and collaborates closely with regional Sales leaders FP&A Accounting and crossfunctional stakeholders worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to operate effectively in a complex matrixed global environment. This role requires a selfstarter who is handson detailoriented and comfortable influencing senior business partners through datadriven insights.

Work Location & OnSite Requirement
This position requires an onsite presence at least four (4) days per week at our Hillsboro Oregon location: US Hillsboro OR 5350 NE Dawson Creek Drive.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead endtoend FP&A activities for Semiconductor Sales Bookings including forecasting budgeting longrange planning monthly business reviews and reporting.
• Analyze financial performance against targets and key KPIs; communicate insights risks and opportunities to Sales and Finance leadership.
• Partner with regional commercial leaders to drive revenue growth support deal reviews and mitigate financial risks.

Strategic Business Partnership

• Act as a trusted finance advisor to Sales leadership supporting strategic initiatives pricing decisions and commercial investments.
• Translate financial data into clear actionable insights to inform decisionmaking and drive execution across the Sales organization.

Commercial Excellence & Productivity

• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance forecasting accuracy analytics and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards reports and models using Thermo Fishers BI platforms and AIenabled tools to improve visibility and productivity.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Drive alignment with regional FP&A Accounting and Commercial Finance teams to ensure timely accurate and consistent financial reporting.
• Support standardization of processes and best practices across global teams.

AdHoc Analysis & Projects

• Support financial modeling scenario analysis and investment evaluations related to growth initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Provide analytical support for leadership requests and special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 46 years of progressive finance experience including experience in a matrixed global organization
• Strong working knowledge of CRM and ERP / Planning systems (e.g. Salesforce SAP Anaplan or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence across levels
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or Data Science with relevant Finance/Accounting coursework

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Finance Sales Finance or Business Partnering roles
• Prior exposure to semiconductor technology or capital equipment industries
• Experience developing and using dashboards and reports in business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with AIdriven tools to support data analysis financial modeling or workflow automation
