As a Armed Security Officer - Full Time Patrol in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and this armed post you will contribute to a people-first culture built on agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings platforms parking areas transit access points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees contractors and visitors while following post orders and applicable regulations for a government location.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence providing directions and assistance to the public and completing required reports related to incidents observations and/or patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
