Position Summary:
The Services business in Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) is $0.8B fast-growing business (CAGR 10-12%) providing both transactional and contractual services to our Electron Microscopy installed base in multiple high growth market segments including Semiconductor Life Sciences and Materials Science. Global installed base grows 910% annually creating significant opportunities to expand recurring revenue and deepen customer engagement. Services offerings include long-term customer services contracts professional services (Installation Training Configuration and Consulting Services) and Managed Services.
As the Senior Director of Finance for this global and scaling business this role serves as the strategic finance leader partnering directly with the VP/GM to define long-term growth strategies shape innovative business models and drive operational execution to expand revenue margins and customer lifetime value. This leader will oversee a global finance organization and will be responsible for developing the talent operating mechanisms and financial infrastructure necessary to scale the business while strengthening operational discipline and overall financial performance. Because of the highly cross-functional nature of the Services operating model this role is uniquely positioned to shape and accelerate enterprise-wide process improvements spanning Commercial Service Operations Finance and core systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
As the Strategic finance business partner this role will:
Partner with central services and field services team leaders to achieve strategic goals and financial targets
Drive strategic/financial analysis of new business models
Lead the design of innovative structure of commercial transactions that enables profitable growth and increases penetration of services offerings
Evaluate and model scenarios of major investments to support capital allocation decisions
Operate as the cross-functional leader to drive business execution in both revenue growth services productivity and margin expansion
Lead with development and presentation of monthly and quarterly business reviews Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan for Services.
Drive process automation enhance data and analytics available to provide forward-looking business insights in a timely manner for decision support
Attract coach and develop finance talent to support services business
Lead cross-functional efforts for continuous business operational improvement and simplification
Provide leadership for critical division-wide initiativessuch as Finance PPI projects warranty process optimization ISB EOX visibility and guidance and major automation programsto drive operational excellence scalability and improved customer and financial outcomes.

Role model in identifying leading mentoring and developing diverse groups of finance professionals
Job Requirements:
An undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent education and experience is required; an MBA or CPA is desired
Excellent academic credentials and a strong competence in business partnering and financial analysis
The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and strong leadership experience
Excellent computer skills specifically MS Excel Hyperion and PowerPoint
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
