Key Responsibilities
Assistin developing training and evaluating large language models (LLMs) and generative AI models applied to scientific andmaterialsscience data.
Support experimentation with fine-tuning alignment techniques and evaluation methods for domain-specific AI models under the guidance of senior researchers.
Help collect clean and curate scientific datasets (e.g. literature experimental data simulations) and contribute to benchmarks andevaluationpipelines.
Document experiments results and learningsclearly;contribute to internal reports or research prototypes.
Preferred Technical Skills & Background
Coursework or research experience in machine learning deep learning NLP or generative AI.
Familiarity with Python and at least one deep learning framework such asPyTorchor TensorFlow.
Exposure to concepts such as model fine-tuning evaluation or prompt engineering; prior hands-on LLM experience is a plus but not.
Interestin working with scientific or technical data (e.g. research papers experimental datasets simulations).
Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity with the ability to learn quickly in a research-focused environment.
Good communicationskills and willingness to collaborate across disciplines.

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
