Pay Rate: $29.50/Hr.

Schedule: Full-Time Friday: 8:00AM to 7:00PM Saturday: 8:00AM to 3:00PM Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00AM to 6:00PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Officer to support operations at a banking institution in Hempstead NY. This role is ideal for individuals with prior law enforcement experience who are looking to continue their careers in a security-focused environment. The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for clients employees and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a strong visible security presence within the banking facility
Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems
Respond promptly to incidents emergencies and alarms
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports
De-escalate conflicts using professionalism and sound judgment
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary

Qualifications:

Prior law enforcement experience required (police corrections or similar)
Valid NYS Security Guard License (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
High level of integrity accountability and situational awareness
Customer service-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Military experience (honorable discharge)
Prior experience in banking or corporate security environments
CPR/AED certification preferred
